IF ELECTED, OBAMA WILL BE MY PRESIDENT
Hate him all you want. That is free exercise of speech in this country. But if (not when, unlike many liberals, I don't think this thing is over) Obama gets elected President, he gets to govern, just like the Bush administration got to govern. And he'll do it with a slightly stronger hold on government (presumably) than the Right had when W. was in office. Curse, Throw Things, Make chants like "Kill him!" and call him "boy". Bring monkeys to rallies and name them Obama. Go nuts. If he wins, he'll still be President.
I just hope that it's a realigning election. I want him to win by 50+ electoral votes just so there's no doubt. The current President got support from Congress (Dems and Reps alike). He got his tax cuts, he got the Patriot Act, and he got both of his wars. History isn't unfairly judging George W. Bush: he's done a wonderful job of pissing away his bulletproof approval rating post 9/11 all on his own.
Now if he'll just be cancerous enoug to ruin John McCain's ambitions for the third time, I'll truly celebrate.
